AHHHH I AM LISTENING TO MILO VENTIMIGLIA READ AN AUDIOBOOK.

i feel it is telling that i find even his audiobook voice unbearably obnoxious.

i shall just pretend it is peter, perhaps it will be tolerable that way.

Way harsh! *pouty face* ;) But more importantly...why are you listening to it dude? I love that kid, and even I wouldn't seek out an audiobook he'd done. I think the lady doth protest too much! You secretly like him, don't you! You can't deny it. cm and milo sitting in a tree...

Edited, because I forgot to say that I did have an audiobook of the Hobbit at one stage! That was awesome. Very relaxing, in fact. If your one is making you agitated, maybe check it out? It's for kiddies, but it's super cute. :)

i don't know why i am listening to it it showed up on that stupid gqmf_heroes comm! i guess i'm very happy when the previouslies on heroes are peter's, and i thought somehow that would translate to me being happy to hear him rambling on in a book.

haha co-journaller will attest to this, it's the ones that i am most spiteful, hateful towards, that i like the most. BUT NOT MILO OKAY HE IS AN EXCEPTION.

i mean...i don't know the guy personally. perhaps he saves kittens during his spare time? but his reading voice is kind of obnoxious.

did he do the hobbit as well? will check it out if so.

*nods* yes, yes. I'm sure he does. Isn't that part of being vegetarian? (don't worry, I won't start channeling chris crocker: leave poor Milo alone! Each to their own. BUT YOU'RE THE ONE LISTENING TO THE AUDIOBOOK! *points*)

LOL, no! Haha, that audiobook is about 20 years old or something. It's british, and has all sorts of character voices, and they even do the tragic dwarvern folk singing! It's fabulous. There's a Lord of the Rings set too and Ian Holm (who played Bilbo in the movies) does the voice of Frodo! Weird. However, that one is about fifty million hours long. As you'd expect.

hahaha! ahem ahem. no i really don't hate him, i mean some of the things he says and does bothers me? but he's really pretty, so. i mean he is so so pretty. that, i feel, forgives most everything of what he might be. and also AP loves him, and i can't help that think that AP must see something wonderful in him, so!

(i totally judge him for being a vegetarian dude! DOWN WITH VEGGIE-LOVERS. MEAT IS GOOD FOR YOU. LIKE CARNIVORES WE SHALL BE. he's a vegetarian from birth though? idk that's kind of adorable. bet he still likes the bone though hi i'm twelve!)

okay i will try to check out the hobbit thingy. \o/

OK, so I just looked it up because I was feeling all sentimental for it, and I discovered there are actually two Hobbit audiobooks. The one I was thinking of was released in 1988 (on tape! that's the one I had. aww.), but there was another one in 2007. Can't vouch for that. Besides, if it doesn't contain the dire cacophony that was the dwarves' "music" (you'll understand if you ever source it - it's hilarious! bet that BBC composer never worked again), then it's a much inferior product.

awesome! <3 i admit i love me some milo/ap, except for the ones that have ap leaving his wife for milo, because those just make me sad.

okay i guess if it's on tape it won't be available on mp3? but maybe someone ripped it idk! I SHALL STILL CHECK IT OUT.

...i have never read the hobbit. i have the book, it's a really pretty version uh. it sits there and mocks me, like all my books. /o\

Ooh, I know. I'm not comfy with those ones either. Especially since I think Natalie's fab.

Do read the Hobbit! It's so fun and not at all hard. LotR I found dull in parts (pages and pages of landscape description), but the Hobbit is written for children so there's less of that. Just lots of talk about bacon and seed cake and handkerchiefs.

okay although i have to say: this video is just about the best adrian+milo thing ever. the casual intimacy, plus how great milo looks in that short clip. i mean, yes please hello.

oh you know i have trouble with reading books in general nowadays...short attention span. will try though!

AP has done one! Probably more. I think it's way more common than we realise- it's just a bit of quick money. I can't find it now but I did hear an excerpt, and I've got to admit I didn't like it. His normal (non-Nathan) voice is a little high? Also (and this is a bit weird) I prefer my narrators to have a British accent. It must be a childhood thing. I'd much rather have an audiobook read by Patrick Stewart or Ben Kingsley than any American (or Aus/NZ) actor. Morgan Freeman is the exception to that rule! His voice is divine.

You rebellious vege types! Such an inspiration.

really! Hmmm. High? I don't know what to say about this :(

I kind of agree about the British accents (as opposed to American) for audiobooks. They seem sort of less jarring/more soothing (also, perhaps a childhood thing for me). I have a couple of Stephen Fry's books that he read himself! And he is very nice to listen to.

Um, also I've heard a Heroes podfic or two read by Australians, and I find the accents so cute! especially when the characters call each other "nAYthan" and "pAYter" :)

Eddiiiiiie. I'm watching one of his routines right now!

I think, much like Declan's clothes are probably Adrian's own (as well as Declan's sister, car, and giant-puppy mannerisms), the closest to Adrian's own speaking voice is Declan ~teaching or being a nuisance around Peggy. We love him, we do we do.

(PS. OMG you guys are welcome to hang out here aaaaalways. We have cake and crack and porn! \o/)

cake, crack and porn? 3 of my favourite things!

declan was *exactly* like a giant puppy &hearts

i loved peggy but always thought that he and miranda should hold hands or something.

Hey, um, weird question and I'm probably insane, but I see your icon is titled katie is my girlfriend ... that wouldn't be any chance be katie sketch from the organ, would it?

I love Peggy, but yeah I kinda ship Declan/Miranda too, only wow he is so completely oblivious and she kinda needs someone to not constantly steamroller over her, JESUS DECLAN. But oh she is so, so lovely, hold hands with *me* Miranda!

Ahem, anyway, yes that is Katie Sketch omg! Look, I have one more! A long long time ago we saw the video for Brother and then spent some time cooing over how hot everyone in this band was and also made some icons. Sadly, she is not my girlfriend. :-(

Oooh nice icon

I'm sorry that she's not your girlfriend (nor mine)! Er, it's kind of embarassing to recognise her by her mouth, but ... whatever. Hey look, they're also really hot in this video! (especially Katie and the one with the balloon thing) *objectify, objectify*

Although I'm still mad that they broke up. 'Grab That Gun' is still one of my favourite albums. Why can't lesbians just get along? :( Apparently she's running a dyke bar in Toronto (or Vancouver?) and being a model right now. Which is not as exciting, I think.
