This. Absolutely this. I don't think I've seen this sort of "fix-it-fic" yet, and I'm surprised because it works so well! I love your characterization of the boys so much; it's more canon than canon. :) There's this undercurrent of tension that's gorgeous and fitting, and at the core of it is their love, like it always is. Great work. :D
